As we look to the Fall, the world of education here at Instech presents an array of opportunities for professional growth. Whether you are looking to acquire new skills or you are an experienced surgeon, our virtual rodent surgical training courses can benefit you. The courses offer everything including general surgical guidelines and instruments, patency optimization, the surgical procedure with video, as well as catheter and VAB™ maintenance.
Our first virtual training course was introduced in April of 2023 and focuses on Rat Jugular Vein Catheterization. This Fall we will introduce a second training course focusing on Mouse Jugular Vein Catheterization.
Each live course is $495 and lasts approximately three hours. Following course completion students will have password-protected access to all the training materials (including a detailed surgical SOP, video of the surgery, and the PowerPoints) presented during the course for 60 days.
Course completion qualifies for three CEUs with AALAS and ASR.
About the Instructor
The courses are led by our very own, Andrée Lapierre, BS, LATG, CMAR, SRS. Andrée has over 30 years of experience in animal research with the past 25 years focused on rodents and surgical procedures.
