With a G400W base station you can monitor a group of P400W syringe pumps from outside the animal room, from the comfort of your office or even logged in from home. View the status of dozens of pumps on a single screen with color coding that matches the indicators on the pump - green for infusing, yellow for syringe near empty, red for stopped, flashing red for an alarm. Click on a pump block for more detailed information from the pump’s home screen.
The monitoring app simply displays the status of all pumps that are in range and set to the same channel (0-9) as the base station; no additional setup required. The base station communicates with the pumps over a proprietary IEEE 802.15.4 network, not WiFi or Bluetooth, so there is no overlap or security concerns with other wireless networks in your facility.
You can plug a monitor, keyboard and mouse into the base station for a completely stand-alone network, or connect an ethernet cable to view the monitoring app throughout your organization.
The app is browser-based and hosted on the base station, so it is device independent and does not require internet access. You cannot control pumps from the app and it does not store any study data; therefore, you should not have to conduct a burdensome validation to be able to use it in GLP studies.
