Pegasus® Infusion Pumps

Pegasus is the only high-volume pump small and light enough for tetherless infusion of rabbits and nonhuman primates that weigh less than 2kg. Pegasus can be as basic or as advanced as the user requires. On the basic level, Pegasus can be programmed pushing the buttons on its display for continuous infusion...start and stop time and day can also be programmed in this manner.

Two models are available: the micro-piston based VARIO and the peristaltic LIGHT.

Benefits of Micro-Pulses

Because the pulses generated by the Pegasus mechanism are smaller than many other infusion pumps, the flow profile at the low infusion rates required by many laboratory animal infusion studies is much more continuous. This can affect the animal's physiology and study data.
