Polarographic Oxygen Measurement

Instech's polarographic systems were based on a miniature Clark-style electrode. Measuring only 1/8 of an inch in diameter (3.2 mm), it was designed to measure dissolved oxygen concentrations in small samples. The electrodes work with Instech model 203 amplifiers as well as the YSI 5300A Biological Oxygen Monitor and Diamond General Chemical Microsensor.

These systems have been discontinued and replaced with fiber optic fluorescence lifetime systems.

Instech continues to manufacture replacement electrodes to support existing customers.
