Dual Channel Polarographic Oxygen Amplifier

Instech's model 203 amplifier generates the potential that operates our 125/05 electrodes and also converts the nanoamp electrode current into a voltage to measure pO 2. It contains two independent channels labeled A and V (for arterial and venous), each with gain and zero offset controls. A 31⁄2 digit LED display can be set with a selector switch to display the A channel, the V channel, or the difference between the two. There are three analog output jacks on the back of the amplifier one for the A channel, one for the V channel, and one that delivers whatever channel the selector switch is set to. These signals can be sent to the A/D board of a computer or to a chart recorder.

NOTE: The polarographic systems have been discontinued and replaced with fiber optic fluorescence lifetime systems. Instech continues to manufacture replacement electrodes to support existing customers.
